A Biblical perspective
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:7-11 [New King James Version]
There is hope in the healing authority of Jesus. Although I don’t believe He heals everyone all the time, He can cause peace beyond our understanding and far out of the reach of the world. In Christ alone can we hope and trust.
Some Scripture to consider:
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 addresses the sufficiency of the grace of God in our sufferings,
Psalm 43:5 says, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”
