The Way out.

The Way out’

What is the way out? What is meant by this expression? I want to offer spiritual guidance to you through the difficult road of this soul wound. Jesus made the statement, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Me” (see John 14:6). This passage addresses the very real eternal perspective of salvation first and foremost. I ask are you saved from your past life of being separated from God and being at enmity with Him? If the answer is “no” I urge you to consider this as a part of the healing journey.

Romans 5:8 tells us, “But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” He died for you when you were His enemy. He did this to free you from requirements of the Old Testament law. He came to fulfill the law and prophets (see Matthew 5:17).

I am definitely not here to preach at you, I am here to help you on the sacred walk. The Psalmist declares, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105 [NKJV]). God desires to give us light to walk by, and He provided Jesus to do that. He is the only way to heaven. I am here to discuss this further with anyone.

I cannot say that my struggles went away when I accepted this truth in my life, it has became easier to walk with this trauma when I understood the suffering of Jesus for me. I know He is able to heal, I know He doesn’t always heal but I trust His timing, and His ways over my own. Does this make what you go through better? I believe it does.

There was a woman in the crowd as Jesus was pressed about by many throngs of people, and she suffered terribly with a flow of blood for 12-years. The account goes on to declare how she tried everything, she spent all her livelihood, and she did not get better, but rather she grew worse, and then Jesus came on the scene. I invite you to read this in the Scriptures (Luke 8:41-56). She knew if she could touch the hem of His cloak, she would be better, and she was healed immediately.

So? Do you want to be made whole? Hear the response from Jesus after the woman presented herself to Him, “And He said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace” (Mark 5:34 [King James Version]). She was made whole, she was no longer sick with the plague she had for so many years, and after trying so many different remedies. Jesus healed her and made her whole.

He still does that today. He still wants to make people whole, first, salvation. In Romans 10:13 Paul declares, “All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” So this is an area which must be addressed. Jesus also wants to make you whole, this woman tried things of the world, and she grew worse. Are you hearing what I am saying? She spent all she had, and essentially she was spent. Yet she didn’t have to spend it all since Jesus paid it all in full at the cross. She finally realized if she could only touch His garment - she would be healed.

WOW!!! Whether it is PTSD or something else - you can be healed as you draw hear to Him.

What have you tried in this world for your sufferings? Medication, counseling, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)? These are not bad approaches; they can help you to recall things to help bring healing into your soul and mind. I do not suggest that you discontinue with anything you are under the care of a physician or counselor for. I am saying there is One who is the way, and He is asking you if you want to be made whole right now.

How do you respond to His question?
